New Armed Assault interview!

Hey guys,
I am lookinbg very forward to this game, AA, there is a new intervie with firing squad

There are some interesting parts, HDR implemenattaions, normal mapping, and the MP will support at least 60 players :eek:

on 1 huge map

I'd probably buy this... I remember playing the demo over and over for Op Flashpoint.

Sounds like an up-to-date Operation Flashpoint, which is excellent. Because its what most people wanted. Still can't believe no publisher has picked it up yet, one of the big companies have got to be interested in it, would be a total waste if not.

YEah they were gonna remake the whole thing and label it Flashpoint 2 but a break up from codemasters messed things up (I think).

So they are making armed assault, an updated engine and new features, it comes with all the content from ofp,red hammer addon and resistence, I think anyway, did some searching yesterday and got some nice info.

The publisher is IDEA games, a Czech outfit that BIS own to a certain amount

Not sure on the official release date, dont think they have set one yet, gamespot says first half of this year, next two months then....

*wants to get the OFP action rolling again*, that was great fun when it was super popular, back in the day.

just think, its only an updated engine, so mods souldnt been hard to adapt, theres some great mods out there, and a really nnice looking stargate one which I want to play
