New Bambu Labs P2S

Thinking of upgrading the CR6-SE to the P2S, can you use the AMS drier while printing if you add its power supply brick?
Still not sure on the AMS if it will just be a fad for me as I print mostly in one colour and PETG.

My other option is just get the P2S only, feed the printer via my Polymaker drier, I can have this then heating and printing at the same time.

No you cant dry and print using the AMs2 even with the adaptor.

Honestly, even if not doing multicolour the AMS is a godsend. Auto refill, autoload etc just makes it a pleasure.

Thats not a bad option to be fair using the polymaker drier. I still think the AMS2 is the better shout

P2S arrived, went with the no AMS, ordered Wed and it arrived today :).

Printing great with Tinmorry PETG-GF with the Bambu PETG-CF settings out of the Polydryer.
Might add the AMS if I feel I'm missing out on multi colour in the future.

So all good, a very good upgrade from the CR6.

Multicolour gets boring quickly when you realise how much waste it's producing.
It has its place. I use my ams’s for ease of loading and autorefill. I go through a ton of grey printing titans. And it’s great to have rolls ready to go so you can easily move between projects

I agree it has its use case..
I'm planning to make something similar to snap maker u1 for autoloading filament.
