New Bathroom

I actually think thats a good price for what you got.

I’m still in shock when people try and get a similar set up done and say oh that shouldn’t cost anywhere near £5k let alone £10k

Thanks and agree, when you break it down it's not "cheap" but easy to see where the money goes

I think they are but you then have the potential for water coming into the main bathroom area

The fitter showed us some walking examples he'd done and some he'd even cut and angled tiles to avoid a tray all together but the designer and Mrs TB decided on the step

I am experienced enough to know when to keep schtum, nod and agree. I really wasn't precious either way and, in the event of any future "discussion", it wasn't my decision :P

A wise husband you are.

I still would have done it so you either step down or up, not over. But it is unavoidable sometimes, as per my own attempt.

Can't even put a tray down yet has a pop at the pro

Genuine tears btw :(

Looks fantastic. About those strip lights round the ceiling - do they actually give off enough light to be able to see yourself very clearly? Compared say to lots of down lights?

Thanks and yes they are surprisingly effective !

As above they are adjustable in terms of warmth and brightness and they are nowhere near full brightness in the pics :)

Love the lights in the coving, very smart.

You’re a brave man having black fixtures, hard water here would wreck them in no time at all.
