New batman gameplay

So impressed with AA. Completely took me by surprise. The combat was fantastic, characters were great, setting was superb. Will definitely be getting this :)
 
Looks very nice. I still have not finished the first one yet, i have some problem where batman just walks when I'm not touching any controls and the part where i am at means i cant go any further. really sucks as there is no save to go back to.
 
Just decided to playthrough the Asylum again. Shame GFWL is retarded and wiped my previous save but doesn't matter, was gonna go through on Hard anyway. Got all my gear now and i'm not far from the end so now its just a case of finding all the Riddler challenges and finishing off all the unlocked challenges for all the achievements.

Great game, freeflow combat is great but it does have its flaws, mostly down to camera angle, especially when it forces the angle. Wondering if they're gonna change it much or just add more to it. a lot of things showed Batman taking down 2 enemies at once (like slamming there heads together) and another he jumped while holding/punching 1 and kicking another.

I hope they fix the dodgy collision detection, or whatever it is. At times Batman just ignores your button presses - especially on doing a Counter. I swear it is so fickle sometimes.
 
Its not Counter thats the problem, its Combat Takedown. Seriously half the time i try to use that skill he just ignores the 'Shift' and takes out his frigging Batarang and gets punched in the face. I just hate the way pressing counter at the wrong moments means you take out the Batarang and get smacked for it instead of a small animation.

The 1 thing thats annoying though is when they keep shifting the flow of time. Like you go into slow-mo for a punch as another enemy is swinging at you then it suddenly goes back to normal speed and you get punched in the head because you missed the counter...

The slow-mo does get irritating. I think a counter or at least a dodge should be "automatic" if someone is about to smack you while in slow-mo.
 
Loved the first one, can't wait for the next one. I dunno but Batman felt like an old school game with modern gfx, everything was just spot on in that game.
