New beta nvidia driver

From driver to driver, you just do not get this with AMD.

"Up to 18% in Batman: Arkham City
Up to 15% in Dragon Age II
Up to 10% in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
Up to 60% in Total War: Shogun 2 (fixes performance issue with latest game patch)"

Since I switched to Nvidia, Skyrim hasnt crashed or frozen once on me. I thought it was my sound card... seems it was my gpu or the AMD drivers that was the issue.

Just installed these, gone from the 300.83 launch driver.

Benched Batman AC before and after, apples to apples settings (Everything max/DX 11 except 1920x1200 res, FXAA High, Physx: normal)

Min/Max/Avg:
300.83: 33/117/72
304.48: 37/120/86

Nice

Seem like very important drivers:

Key Fixes
Fixes an intermittent vsync stuttering issue with GeForce GTX 600-series GPUs.
Fixes an issue where some manufacturer's factory overclocked cards default to and run at lower clocks.
Fixes a performance issue in Total War: Shogun 2 with the latest game patch.

Not according to the germans:

I won't flood the post with AMD stuff, but there has been a 26% overall performance increase from 11.12>11.6 betas for the 7970.

'In Old Republic, we measured a performance jump by a whopping 37 percent.

'the performance boost in Crysis 2 is remarkable. Much as 10 percent faster, the new driver.'

Although DAII took a huge hit:

'Dragon Age II fell from 51 fps to 37 fps'

Hmmm yea ok. But what I found is that although the 12.6 drivers where better than the 12.4s for performance (the 12.4 where **** poor) skyrim which was one of the games I was playing started freezing on me when I walk through doors etc... I thought it was my sound card.

Since I switchedto the 670, I havent had a single skyrim freeze or crash...
