I've got a new bike and it's something completely different to what I was thinking before, it's a new 2012 675R.

I was thinking long and hard about if I should keep the 10R and just upgrade it, but I wanted something that was more rewarding than the 10R on the road. Don't get me wrong, it was great fun but I always felt like I was going to end in jail or die.

The 675R is amazingly agile and has a load of poke still. I think I will get more reward from it, not to mention the noise is epic. :D

Anyway, here are the images, pick her up next Saturday. Cannot wait :)

Love it!

When I bought my new bike it was down to the 675 and the ZX6R. In the end I bought the ZX because it fit me better but I do love the 675, especially the R model.

Very nice, the 675 triple is a lovely engine, got the Street Triple R, and the sound of that with arrows, with baffles removed, is awesome :D

Wow interesting choice mate. Didnt see that one coming.

Whilst I love these I couldnt trade in a 1000cc for one. Im just to bloody big to ride anything smaller without looking daft. :p

Stunning bike though. If they ever pull there finger out and do a 1000cc version of this it would be on my shopping list.

Cheers guys - yeah i'm also a little worried I will look like an Ape humping a Melon when riding it.. i'm 6ft 1". hehe.

i bet it feels spongy the torque compared to the zx10? i know mine does when i hop onto my 600

youll save some fuel and tax though im guessing

Honestly? no, it doesn't one bit, if anything the triple has MORE torque low down than the 10r, one of best things about the engine.

The 10r never took off until over 7/8,000rpm.

im only going off a 98 zx6,things have moved on since then

i think the zx10's restricted in low gears though to stop it flipping? not 100% sure

yeah, the 08 onwards was tamed low down for emissions, safety and all that rubbish. It still shifted mind ... just felt a little guttless low down, much like a IL4 600cc before 8,000rpm. Soon moved when you wound it up though :D
