Yeah found that out 30 mins after picking the pickup whilst whoooling down the A31. Didn't manage to quite get to it in time before I had to pull over and look like a numpty!

90 miles on a tank? more like 60,terrible tank range/consumption

Pushing hard on a track maybe, but if you get that on a road there is something is badly wrong. They have an 18/19 litre tank so a 60 mile range would mean 15mpg or less. A quick search shows owners get anywhere from 90-130miles per tank depending on how hard they ride it.

I get about 120 from my ZX7R, but thats like 120 miles it might be out 8-9 times as I've not yet had an opportunity to do a long run on it!

il recheck but im sure i got 60 miles before the reserve light came on,if reserve has 20-30 mile range that makes total of 80-90miles its an 04 c1h zx10,with open end arrow can on,my zx6 g1 is much better fuel consumption

mind you i am a bit of a skin flint when filling up,from reserve i only put £7 in max,i can see the fuel not far from the filler cap but maybe other folks squeeze more in?

I tank mine every time, and from reserve it's about £20 to fill!

That will be the problem, the top part of the tank is the widest and where the majority of the fuel capacity is.
