the vrm are all metal no plastic in sight the shroud with the infinity display is plastic and goes above the metel vrm heatsinks on the left side for about 1cm

I love mine, ive had no problems with it at all, I flashed the v17 bios, but then back flashed to the v15 bios, I found it a bit more stable and it allowed me to push the fabric further, but at the same time, still kept the faster post times that were fixed in the newer bios, on the bios side of things, its gone very quiet.

Ive been running 3 x 250gb nvme drives in RAID0 since day 1 of having it, along with a sammy 1tb SSD and a Seagate 8tb mechanical (which isnt getting much use, im looking at swapping this for just a 2tb SSD of some description), 32gb of G.Skill trident Z Royal Silver 3600mhz CL18, thats all running perfectly fine at 1.41v 3600mhz timings tightened to 16-19-19-39-1T (all 4 slots) and a RyZen 3900x at stock settings, never so much as a hiccup, you wont regret that board.

Interesting reading about experiences with the ACE. I nearly bought this as I've always had MSI motherboards. Eventually went with the Aorus Master. I don't think there was really a bad option.
 
is anyone at home with their ACE to hand? Can anyone measure how wide the RAM socket is externally? The manual gives dim from centre of CPU to edge of the ram slot but I need to check whether the ram will fit next to the fan so need a bit more info.

Cooler I'm looking at buying is the noctua NH-U14s with the aim of being able to access RAM without demounting the cooler (I don't mind removing the fan). I can't find any comment on whether 4 sticks fits next to NH-U14s on x570/AM4 without any issues, so I'm trying to do my own maths.

Trident Z Ram is 0.59" wide overall so approx 7.5mm from centre to face of Ram heat spreader. Noctua website says centre of cooler to face of front fan is 52mm. Msi say 53.62mm centre of CPU to face of 1st RAM socket. If someone can measure across the RAM slot I can work out whether it will fit. I can measure myself later but I'd hoped to order it today for delivery tomorrow so I can build at the w/e.
 
Measured it last night. Ram is only 8mm wide total so I don't know where they're getting the 0.59" value from. Looks like everything should fit nicely. Cooler ordered and tomorrow is build time!
