Hey guys,

Long story short, I've got a Spoiler from EBay it's going to go on my car thats not had a spoiler so no holes for it to screw in, some people have told me to just use adhesive something called Tigerseal??

So I'm asking you professional lot, should I stump up the £40 - £60 and go to a garage and have it fitted 'screws' or just buy this Tigerseal and fit it myself?

If you lot go the route of tigerseal there seems to be quite a few different ones, what one is the one I want?

Many Thanks

i've also been told to use 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape, basically a double sided tape, so I have no idea on whats best to use / do?

What kind of spoiler is it? If its a small lip type then just adhesive it, if its a proper spoiler then you want to bolt it on.

If it's a lip that makes contact all the way along the boot, then tape should be fine. If it has 2/3 struts that make contact with the boot lid then I'd look at a more permanent fixing.

Is this your base spec 1.8 Mazda 6 with the black wheels that sounds like a Subaru? I feel sorry for your poor car :(

To answer the question - unless it's just a lip spoiler, I'd attach it with screws - you don't really want it falling off when you're going along the motorway ;)

95% sure they mean tigerbond which is what my spoiler is attached with but 3M tape is just as good for the situations described above.
