The new bike-build continues...

I now need to get a single brake - Shimano, rear with a left hand lever. Looking at all the kits the rear brakes seem to come with right hand levers. Will I have to buy the calliper, lever and hose separately to achieve this?

Edit- got confused - my brakes (UK bought from evans) the rear brake is on the left bar

https://www.bike-discount.de/en Are German, might find one there - will save some faf, prices usually pretty good too. I've bought a frame from there before, was fine, took about a week to arrive.

This one (just for example) is a rear brake and says mount: right in the specification. https://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/shimano-xt-br-m8000-disc-brake-180is-rear-965479

The all seem to be rear = right .

This one from Evans says available in left or right is rear = left https://www.evanscycles.com/shimano-xt-m8000-i-spec-ii-disc-brake-assembly-EV249126
