New BT connection keeps dropping! (vague)

Well my new upgrade with BT is complete but my connection drops a couple of times a day for 10 seconds. It logs me out of Xfire, MSN, out of games etc.

Obviously it is really annoying but I don't know where to start to troubleshoot it!
 
Ah, well this has been going for about a month! Also, in my Network Connections sometimes there is an 'internet gateway' and sometimes there isn't! Whats going on here?
