new budget

what is the benefit of having more memory for example a 512mb vs a 1024mb

Nothing if your monitor is small (Below 24"). The 1gb is only really useful when gaming at 2560*1600 (30") or playing GTA4.

Even my old 4870 512mb did ok @ 2560*1600 (Didn't know about the ram limitation at 2560*1600 before I got it, and the 1gb models were not yet released) with some games that didn't need much ram. It's happy days now I'v moved onto a 1GB 5870!

No that PSU won't run the 5750 card.

10A isn't much to be honest but more importantly it has 0 PCI-E connectors to plug into the graphics card.

It should come with molex adaptors, and isn't the 5750 extremely power efficient for it's performance? So would have thought his 500w would be more than enough no?
