Well guys just finshed with the sig below. Running on Vista 32 bit, staryt to think I should go back to XP.

It was fine until I installed Vista drivers for my 6800GS APG. So what happens is, when a attention box appears and on the login screen I have black lines going across it, but not when I dont have the drivers installed, should I just leave the drivers?

Another problem is Shutting down, I have not managed to do it yet, the PC stays on. It logs off windows, my keyboard lights stay on and so does the pc, bt the monitor goes off :S:S

Little help please :D

You'll need the drivers for the GFX card. Where are you getting them from, are they the latest from nVidia?

And what PSU do you have? My Enermax Infiniti keeps some power going to the mobo after shut down to keep the fans spinning for a while to cool the PC down before totally powering off. The hotter it is the longer it is before it powers off.

Yeah I have the latest drivers from nVidia. And I have the stock PSU in the Antec NSK6500 case (i thinks that the model number).

I managed to get it to shutdown now just decided to work all of a sudden. Still got the problem with the GFX though, could it be that the 6800gs AGP card is not designed for vista at all?
