Just wondering if everything looks ok before i go ahead and order.

Cheers for pointing out the memory problem, the 4x1GB was a mistake...

so...

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Reaper HPC Edition Dual £75.19 ?

or

G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-8000C5 (2x2GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit £76.36 ?

Please advise why i should buy a retail Q6600 if i am going to buy an after market cooler? I wouldn't need the stock cooler so shouldn't i save the money and buy OEM?

As for the AC Freezer 7, is it quiet? I use a Scythe SamuraI Z on my current rig and it does a good job and is silent, which is why i chose it again.

The antec 900 is too flashy for me i'm afraid.

You get 3 years warranty with the retal Q6600 and only 1yr Warranty with OEM

Also the AC Freezer 7 is the best cooler in its price range and I don’t find mine noisy
 
After doing a search on this forum, i have just read that unless i am planning on pushing my Q6600 over 3.6GHz, DDR2 8500 is pointless.

Chances are i wont OC the Q6600 too far over 3GHz so would it be more sensible to save some cash and go for DDR2 6400??
 
IMO go for the TT, it'll be more quieter then the Freezer 7 pro. nice is very very loud, unless i take it to 50% speed.

and i would recomend the PC6400 over PC8500 :)

BUT if you have programs which work better with faster RAM, then using a better than a 1:1 ratio for FBS:RAM would be better, so PC8500 would be good. my 2x1GB XMS2 Corsair C4 PC6400 RAM OCs to PC8500 with C5, so you could always OC above.

I agree with this, plus if you get memory with low timings you could always raise the timings to clock it faster if needed. Depending on which memory you get and you may not even need to do the that to OC it.

Also the TT 120 is the better cooler, but I would not class it as in the same price range as the ACF 7 and the Scythe Samurai as it cost £11 more.
