New Build (Almost) £2500

Hey folks, looking to get a new build - I have a few bits from my current build that im looking to carry over.
The rig is mainly used for gaming, I do abit of game dev stuff on the side but nothing massively intensive.

Stuff I dont need are the following;
PSU, AX860i
RAM, 32 gig (2x16)
HDD, have 1x 1TB
SSD, have 2x 250gb
OS, Win 10 pro

Things i need are the following (ill also add what my current plans)
CPU, I7-9700k
Case, Fractaal Design Meshify C blackout Midi
Mobo, Gigabyte z390 gaming SLI
CPU Cooler, Corsair Hydro Series H100I
GPU, palit RTX 2080 TI Dual
Samsugn 970 Pro Polaris
Asus PG278QR Rog Swift 27''

Total £2434,89

What do you guys think of the current build, what would you change - I dont have any prefrence really i just want a good pc for 2500.

Extra notes, I do currenly have a decent 4k 28'' moniter also,

Hi no problem :)


You could save £100 on the SSD by going with the 500GB Samsung 860 EVO.

With the £100 saved you could consider a 3440 x 1440 120Hz G-Sync monitor if you like the idea of widescreen. You would need more deskspace though as they are 34"/35" compared to 27" for a standard 1440p screen.

I actually already have 2 860 evo's both at 250GB, I guess the m.2 was not even necessity it was more just the fact that well I've never owned a mobo that supported one before.

As for the 4k moniter certainly something to look into can maybe drop the m.2 all together and switch the monitors - im not going to lie the reason i was going to go for the 1440p was because i felt when i went from a old 1080p to 4k set up just never felt comfortable with it not sure if it was just there was so much on the screen to look at or the ups and downs in the fps not quite as stable as it once was or what.

So i am somewhat worried to go for a 4k again, The current 4k moniter i have is only 60hz and has freesync which is no good. samsugn u28d500d or something like that cant really remember the model name.

The rest of the set up seem okay?

The AOC one above is still 1440p but 21:9 format instead of standard 16:9. A curved screen is supposed to be more immersive, although I have never had the pleasure of using one myself. You lose a bit of refresh rate 120Hz vs 165Hz over the standard 2560 x 1440p. Still a lot better than 60Hz though. Not every game will support widescreen though so I guess it depends on the games you play.

Everything else looks pretty good.
 
Just wanted to let you know lee, advice is taken.

Put in the order with dropping the m.2 entirely and swapping out the monitor for the one you recommended.
