New Build - Any Suggestions?

tbh if i was gonna go intel on a gaming system it would be the i5 but that AMD CPU/Mobo combo makes me moist in my special places should OC to 4ghz no problem at all and goes well with the 2x6870s.
I know this is a minor consideration but you cant tell me that masterpiece right there wouldn't look absolutely stunning once built

yep.
i7 920 vs 1090t at gaming(i7 920 is slower than a i7 930)
i5 760 vs 1090t
and that OCZ psu only has two pci-e connectors which means ugly molex adaptors would have to be used, which for a rig this expensive is FAIL.

and you managed to select low profile ram with that monster cooler.

Looks good Jony, i do like the Phenom and Crosshair IV combo more but thats just personal preference both would be a jaw droppingly nice gaming rig.

no sarcasm. straight up award for getting the ram and cooler combo correct.
its the cooling fins on certain ram that some people dont take into consideration with these big heatsinks.
well if you want to spec certain things that need adjusting, then expect me to be there to rip your spec apart.

no. im saying at this price point i5 and i7 are superior, and that OCZ psu hasnt enough connectors for both cards, so ugly adaptors will be used making the build look ugly through the window.
Then why did i get the "gold star" for my ram/cooler?
And neat cable management will keep it looking slick tbh, and if its a huge problem can get another PSU but the OCZ one is a really sweet bargin right now and worth a tiny bit of hassle imo. Your really nitpicking now m8.
As for i5 vs phenom 2 i don't even want to start with you on that im sure you can show me loads of places favoring intel as i can show loads giving reasons phenom 2 is awesome. At the end of the day there both very nice and placed in a decent system will both make gaming a dream, i like the black editions for the cost/performance and the ease of overclocking either is a good buy so why argue?

You just cannot say this. It makes no sense. Because one poster brought facts to the discussion and you brought none. Just saying 'Well oh look at those facts, well I can ignore those because I can show loads of reasons for my views' and come up with nothing. And even if you can give reasons, you cannot deny the facts.
So why argue? Given who has given the facts, he is not the one arguing. You are, and seeing that the results are what they are, you are the one who has to convince anyone that your alternative is superior.

, my apologies for the confusion thought you were swiping at me.And im really not interested in getting involved in a retarded Intel vs AMD debate, they happen all the time and are always stupid both are great companies. You and i both know the build i suggested is a fantastic gaming system for the price point, anyone who built it would not be dissapointed in any way with the performance so why must we argue about it? Im not dissing intel i just like the bang for buck you get with AMD and the overclocking potential, niether option is a bad choice.
People have fought over intel vs amd since forever and its just pointless, my build is good no sane person would be unhappy with it. An intel build would be just as good, the OP can decide which he prefers and he will be perfectly satisfied whichever way he jumps.
Triple channel ram on the i7 is a nice feature tho, tis tempting. Mainly cause i kinda want more than 4gb but feel 8gb (the 3rd channel itself doesnt bring a huge ammount to the table) is unnecessary. Hoping Bulldozer sorts this out.
