Pc has died a death after 6 years of hard work so I think it's time for an upgrade!
I've been looking around and have seen a lot on new skylakes/X99, 4K monitors, huge GB graphics cards and the like - feel like I've been out of the loop too long to make a decision without your informed help!
PC is mostly used for gaming so was thinking of kitting it out with a 12GB graphics card (recommendations welcome!), 250GB SSD for OS install and a 3TB HDD for storage. I already have mouse/keyboard and a sound card (essence STX 2 I believe) I'll be swapping over to the new machine, but am tempted to upgrade one of my monitors to 4K with the new computer. Would also be handy if it had enough space (room in the case!) to move my old HDD over. I have RAM I can swap to the new machine also (corsair 8GB sticks I think) but additional suggestions are fine on that.
All recommendations and discussions on best options welcome, like I said I'm looking to spend around £2000 without the 4K monitor but suggestions on a decent monitor to get are welcome too.
Appreciate anyone who responds, overclockers forums have always been kind to me in the past!

) because then you have the GPU horsepower to run most of the highest graphical quality settings. Nvidia's Hairworks still kills performance regardless.
