Asus b550 strix gaming f
Ryzen 9 5900X
Samsung 980 Pro M.2
Asus rog 1070 graphics
Put it together with just the M.2 drive and ram. Installed Windows 10 without problem
Klevv bolt ram 32 gig .

Then went into bios to set up a raid for 2 SSDs. It would not set the raid up and on restart went into a bios loop.or would not start at all.

I dismantled it and rebuilt outside of the case I examined the cup pins and they looked ok. On starting, the orange led was flashing (ram). I tried each stick in each in each socket , no change.

I'm now at a loss.

Edit: I cleared cmos by removing the battery and 're flashed the bios

Was the BIOS reflash successful?

Also did you clear CMOS with the power turned off, and short the pins?

I'd try clearing it that way if you haven't, then re-download a BIOS and reflash it. Typically big USB sticks aren't ideal for this, aim for 8GB or smaller.

Then I'd try a minimal boot outside the case - one stick of RAM, graphics card, no storage.

Yes, bios reflash good. Cleared CMOS many times including removing the battery, and both sticks of ram in each socket. Nothing but the flashing yellow led

why you pull the cpu when it was working? you might want to check you didn't bend a pin on the second insertion, didnt one of the more recent asus bios screw with memory compatability? might want to try a different one.

I have installed a new rog strix b550 f MB. Same problem.
I Have installed a new Risen 9 5900X. Same problem.

It can only be RAM now?

Edit: The Samsung M.2 wouldn't stop it posting would it?
