Lucid is actually similar to Nvidia optimus found in notebooks. It switches between the onboard GPU and descrete graphics to save power.
Almost all boards do it - just not the Gigabyte UDX range.
Quick sync uses the iGPU on the sandbridge processor to perform video transcoding quicker than other graphics cards.
The Asus board isn't a bad choice, the P67 board were plauged with a few bugs which has put some people off them.
Its only feature which the other boards don't have is the intel LAN adapter.
It does use the RAM slot closest to the CPU through, so the GSkill RAM you have chosen may interfere with the Arctic CPU Cooler's Fan.
