If you only get 'new partition' on that menu, make a new one and set it to the full size of the drive, then you should be able to format it

PilotTait said:any reason for it?
i probaly will have it that way in the end, is there any easy way of doing it?
Robbie G said:The reason is that the speed dependent applications should be placed on the drive with the fastest seek time i.e. the Raptor. This will improve loading times in Windows and games and will also help with things like defragging, installing etc.
Trigger said:The speed difference is extremley negligable, especially with the Seagate 7200.10 drives and there is virtually no difference now in loading times.
