new build crashing on warfighter???

Like the title says, i assume the gpu is overheating.Its been fine on small games but i got warfighter free with it and installed then it restarted about 2 minutes after getting in game twice now.

What are the gpu temps during game play?

Well its at 46 degrees now, when i go into the game and wondows out to check the temp its like 80 odd but drops as i come out of game to check.

i5-4670k overclocked to 4.4 by OC
corsair 650 watt psu
z87 motherboard
7870 black edition gpu

Checking the review of the card below and they were getting 76c under stress.

Can you check any other games and see if they crash, also run Furmark bench test.

hi sorry for the delay, I have checked cs source and that worked fine but when i tried putting planetside 2 which ive never played yet it crashes on the load menu everytime.
I ran Furmark and it was fine but the furmark software didnt seem to be working properly as the temp stayed the same throguout 40 mins of test at 39degrees?

ive just bought 2 140mm fans and fit them too the top of the case and it lasts a bit longer but after 10-15 minutes still crashes and restrarts?

look in event viewer to see what its crashing on,might need one/two clicks more cpu v/offset or dvid

look for any whea errors/warnings

Not unheard of for the overclock on the "overclock" bundles to flake out, especially in this weather

try putting back to stock and see what happens

Sorry for my incompetence wazza but I have no idea how to do that. I've just ran intelburntest on it and it passed everything, I think the gpu is just overheating either because of a fault or my case may be inadequate.

You can just type event viewer in the start menu search then look in there,ill post a screenshot later,im using phone atm

I couldn't look at the errors as I sent PC to my friend who know more about them to take a look. He said he think its the overclock as when he turned it off and played the game the temps were lower and the game didn't crash but with everything else we tested it did
