New Build - Disk Boot Failure

Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble getting this error...

I've got win 7 in the only dvd drive plugged into the machine... the only other drive is a sata hard drive.. both drives show up in the bios ... the hard drive under channel 0 master and the dvd drive under channel 4 master...

the first boot device is set to cdrom and i've tried going thru f12 as well...

still i get the disk boot failure... any ideas what may be going wrong ?

your info is a little sparse, is it an original win 7 disk in your dvd drive or a copy? did you previously have an OS installed on the hard drive or is it empty?

Is this a Win7 32bit disk?

I had trouble last night with a customers 32bit copy. I tried my own disk and it worked fine. I then kept trying the customers disk until it worked without any reason.. Strange?
