I'm having the exact same issue as the person in this thread https://www.overclockers.co.uk/foru...onstant-red-cpu-light-gigabyts-mobo.18861742/

System has been working for a week without issue. Today it kept hanging intermittently, now it won't post at all and the CPU light stays on.

Specs:

  • NZXT H510 Elite
  • Corsair MP600 Drive
  • AMD 3900XT
  • Gigabyte AMD 5700XT OC Edition
  • Aorus X570 Pro
  • Corsair RM850X.
  • Kraken X63 CPU Cooler with 2 Fans
  • 1 x 140mm Exhaust Fan
  • 1 x 120mm Exhaust Fan

@GIGA-Man, please can you help :)

@GIGA-Man should hopefully be able to help. Gigabyte have had the ability to test your mobo, ram and CPU at the same time.
To be honest your reseller ( OCUK etc ) should do this for you first . Though they may ONLY as for the CPU to test on their rigs.

Have you reseated the CPU and checked it's pins ?

Heads up, gigabyte rep might be busy with 3080/90 launch..

If you have had it for less than 14 days I would request a refund or a replacement so your not left waiting for an RMA which could take over a month.

Hey,

I was away at the end of last week, might be best to get the board and CPU back to OCUK for testing and replacement, if they'll do that. If it needs a full RMA from us, I can have the board looked at directly and will arrange that for you, check with OCUK's team. I'll do what ever is needed to help you out directly.

Just a pic of my CPU all looks good (my finger isn't actually touching any pins, just looks like it is a little)
