Well I've finally picked my rig, and I can't wait to order it in 3 weeks time when I get payed.

Can you all confirm that the below is all compatable, is good for gaming and into the future ie; future proof?

What I also would like to know is opinons on wether I can change anything here for a better deal? Is there anything I'm missing and would you buy this rig yourself?


And last but not least I will be getting my monitor somewere else.

I'm getting a 22" Viewsonic VX2268WM, 3D 120Hz, Wide, Black/Silver, LCD, VGA/DVi, 20000:1, 300cdm2, 1680x1050, 3ms

system in the whole should be fine, i'm guessing it's a Stulid spec list tbh lol

if it was me, i wouldn't go for the zalman case, but thats my taste, everything else is totally fine

There's some black ram that's the same speed etc for less.

If you can live with the colour?

you're going to want a 3rd party cooler if you want to oc, the intel does allow for 4-4.5ghz from what I've read but the 3rd party ones will give you better temps. in that case the fins on the ram will interfer with the cooler.

i see, now ive been told i should be ok depending on wat cooler i get. Also there may be enough room in the case to allow for it?

No, but other people have they like it and have fitted coolers and a H60 water cooler etc.
