New build for £2000 all in - been a while so advice welcome

Been 6 odd years since I built a pc, been using a gaming laptop (hot air blower). I have mouse, keyboard, Win 10 licence, and some storage drives.

Monitor cannot be bigger than 24" - what do you recommend?

Any changes you would make, and would I need anything else?

Getting Thermal and Display port cable elsewhere.

3200 C16-16-16-36 better than 3600 C19-19-19-39.

Zotac states 250W draw for that card. 3700X pulls about 120W on load. 550W would handle that. 650W would be ample. Can save a little there if you wish.

24" generally not ideal for 2560x1440 though you may already know you're one of the exceptions.

A 5700XT or RTX 2070 or 2070 Super would already be a great choice for that resolution and refresh rate. Bearing in mind Nvidia will have new and faster cards out in a few months.

There are better Display Port cables elsewhere and I'm not talking about the unnecessary £50+ variety but rather around £10. That cable is an old 1.0 or 1.1 as it says 8.64 Gbits. And there are plenty of 1.4 for around £10.

Which is also overly expensive for its small size and Twisted Nematics panel.
There are bigger better image quality panel monitors for £50 less

Scratch that silverhype paste, which hasn't been any top paste in long long time.
It isn't even any better than bundled actually quite good paste:

I agree that 24" inch is quite small for high end machine, but at the moment space is a premium. I mainly chose that monitor as it fit size, and offered 2560x1440.

Looking at feedback, it would be better to go for a cheaper 1080p and a 2070, and upgrade if/when I get more space.

Which 24" or less monitor would you recommend?

Ah ok. Was gonna suggest if the tower was gonna sit at the same desk as the monitor, one could think about getting a smaller build, and get a 27 inch monitor
 
Build. You don't have to go for the AIO, but you may want to add some visual bling. 5700 XT is a solid GPU for 1080p high refresh.
