New build so cannot use anything from previous one apart from peripherals and monitor. Here are my current specs for reference
2500k (oc'd to 4k)
8gb ram
512gb SSD
rx390 oc'd
1080p screen @ 60hz
Most of my gaming these days is on the tv via pc and I've just bought an OLED so it's new pc time to drive 1080p @ 120hz and 4k @ 60hz. I've also got an Oculus Rift and have my eye on next gen VR like 5k Pimax.
I'm okay with mild to moderate overclocking of cpu and graphics card but I can't be bothered going too into it.
Will be playing games like Witcher 3, Dishonored 2, Fallout series. I like to heavily mod my games for more eye candy so it will need to keep up.
Another requirement will be noise, I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of power in exchange for not being able to hear the pc over my games.
My initial thoughts were something like a 1080ti, ryzen 2700x, bequiet! darkrock pro cooler. Not keen on full water cooling as I'm too lazy to do maintenance but wouldn't object to an AIO if it made system quieter. For the case, I don't care what it looks like but would like a quiet one.
I've built my last two rigs myself but I may palm this one off to Overclockers if the price isn't that much different.
