Hi
Hubby is building a new system to do his 3d rendering on. This is all the pc will be used for apart from surfing the web and photoshop work. The software he uses is Octane which requires an NVIDIA graphic card with as many cores and memory as possible. The modelling is very CPU and memory intensive hence the I7 and 16gb ram. Could anyone please advise if the spec below looks good for what he requires it for?
The case is a watercooled one, is this going over the top?
1 x CS Storm Trooper case
1 x socket 1155 Intel i7 2600k cpu
1 x Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler
2 x MSI 2GB 560ti twin frozr GPUs
1 x ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution motherboard
4 x 4GB corsair vengeance DDR3 1600 ram
1 x Corsair 850W Enthusiast PSU
1 x Corsair 120GB SATA3 SSD
