• The PSU is awful. I cant be any more blunt.:D
• The GTX460 seems a bit excessive, is there going to be lots of gaming also?

A AMD Llano based system may be a nicer option and can still play games at modest levels as the built-in gfx is actually better than the usual rubbish you see.

I bought a GTX 460 to play games and work etc and your buying one for iPlayer, Sky Go etc :(

Surely the onboard gfx is enough for those tasks?

Spend the money saved from the GTX on an SSD.

EDIT: Stulid can you reply to my email please :) I will be very thankful :D

Glad I'm not the only one that dislikes those PSU's.

Thought I did? will check again now.
You did sorry, my blackberry for some reason decided not to push my email. Sorry again.
Sorry ukgeezer for going off topic also.

As Stulid said though a AMD Lano setup might be better? pretty decent onboard gfx.

I built one last week for a friend and he can play COD 4 on it at medium i think he said and it looks good. iPlayer etc will be a breeze for it.

No graphics card required, uses AMD Llano IGP plays Dirt 3 well. Quad processor.

Could save on 4Gb ram approx £30

All these dual sandys with weak IGP? Less than HD5450

Llano is more competitive at £350 price point.

I have never in my 18 year PC building life used an AMD processor. I read about Llano being replaced. Is the Llano future upgrade equivalent to sandbridge to ivybridge.
I just bought sandybridge and am not regretting it, yet!!

Llano isn't even as fast as Phenom II in pure CPU terms it's more an Athlon II X4, but it has a fairly capable GPU on die.
For this situation, it's preferred.
