New build freezing... something simple?

Completed memtest this morning, test complete with no errors (all 16gb back in) so far this morning the last 3 hours it hasnt froze. Ive plugged the SSD into a different sata3 port and reinstalled all the drivers from online and not off the CD provided with the motherboard. Fingers crossed!

the AO code on the motherboard is normal


i had an issue also when installing from the cd where it would hang on the windows log in screen a reinstall later and its fine

you may want to update the bios as well there has been some issues with some usb keyboards

Hi guys, little update.

I thought that I was running version 6 bios when i first set the system up (im sure i seen 6 in system setup hehe) anyway it turns out i was using version 4 bios. Since updating the bios to version 6 i have had no freeze issues! This is 24 hours of constant use so hopefully this is whats caused the issue! Thanks for your help guys!
