If I posted a picture of my back garden it would be shocking, there is a lost tribe of cat people living at the bottom of it armed with string balls and fish bones spears, never even gone down there in 20 years since I trod on a bumble bee next and never went back again.
Seriously your garden looks mint and posh but @ that cost I can understand you want perfection really, if I had a choice I would slab, concrete, brick every inch that way much less if no maintenance at all.
My advice - do everything you possibly can to get the developer to let you have access to the garden *before* the turf is laid...
Our neighbours did this, and they were able to spend a weekend carefully digging over the soil a bit, picking out a bunch of the stones and plastic and other builder's crap, and adding a little bit of better quality soil of their own... By contrast we didn't think to ask for or do this and 2 years on our lawn is noticeably less uniform than theirs... Not a complete disaster but we've had to work hard (see above) to get it there; theirs is lovely and flat with good grass and ours is lumpy in places with inconsistent drainage
He's still not playing ball. Randomly text me and said someone had been around and seen no issue. So I asked why someone was around without my consent and I want to see him (the director) in person. He then asked what my issues were... anyway he's back to ignoring me now so I have a letter drafted using the Citizens Advice template.
I'll drop him a text and say I'll be posting it on Thursday and he has till then to arrange to meet up with me. In the letter I've asked for 10% discount for goodwill. Let's see what happens.
My personal opinion (which counts for very little) is that the builder didn't put enough top soil down before laying the turf - not a huge surprise, so really the guys that did the grass should have seen that and worked accordingly and laid the grass on top and by the looks of things from your earlier pics they didn't.
