Hi Guys

I purchases a GS600 PSU for my new build. All is well and it booted first time = all good.

However I'm stress testing the machine using Prime 95 currently. Temps are stable, however when the PSU fan is not in operation i'm getting this quite annoying loud'ish ticking-over noise. It's very noticeable (see here - might need volume up as Phone Mic isn't great - Google + Link).

When the fan kicks in it's almost a relief to have a "normal" sound again.

I'm wondering is this is "normal" operation as it certainly doesn't sound it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

it is a common fault with the gs series. i had one before my xfx and it did the same thing, the fan was trying to spin but it couldnt it also used to make a screeching noise so i returned it and got my xfx which is much better
send it back and get a silverstone or seasonic or xfx :)

Already got an RMA in for it. It just doesn't sound right.....

Which of the above would you suggest for lowest db level?
