Right had my delivery of good's today thought brilliant can crack on with it you know casually putting stuff together with paitence finally get to the rewarding bit of turning it on, So i press the power button and boom! Everything is lit up all fans are running can feel the CPU cooler (Corsair H50) Water flowing, the HDD's vibrating a little good signs turn monitor on then im hit with a "No Signal" and then goes into some form of a standby/sleep mode on the Monitor light turns from Blue to Orange and screen is black. I've scoured the web from 1PM to now in hope of finding a cure so i can be up & running tonight, I've unplugged the lot, started again, I've cleared off the Paste on CPU once & re-applied, I've made sure everything was plugged in properly the only thing I havent done was try the Mobo not in the case an which makes me believe through other things that it's that, I've read else where that its bit notorious mobo and some have been shipped DOA (Dead On Arrival) also something to do with clearing CMOS as well? Wasnt quite sure what that was about but anyway's any help or advice on the matter would be appreciated,

My build is as follow's

CoolerMaster HAF 932 - Case
ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 - Mobo
Intel i7 920 2.66GHz - CPU
Sapphire ATI 5850 - GPU
Corsair Hx750 - PSU
GeiL Dragon 6GB Trip Channel - RAM
ViewSonic Vx - Monitor
2 x SamsungSpin Point F3 - 1TB - HDD
Sony Optical Drive - Disc Drive
Samsung Drive - Disc Drive

If any advice/tips or help on this matter that would solve the issue and fix it for me by tonight would be much appreciated. Thank you :)

It may well be running fine but as you have no signal you cant tell, main thing to ensure is seated correctly is gfx card, and make sure the PCI-E connectors are attached securely. Ensure youre connecting to the primary output from back of card

Also make sure the mem is in the right slots, took me ages to work out why mine was not turing on. Not sure on the Deluxe, but on the standard P6T is should be in the orange slots, check the manual.

Is the PSU fan running a little louder than it should be? if so then your missing a power connector from it to the mobo!
Make sure you've got the 4pin power connector plugged in as well as the 24! should be located near the CPU.

I havent tried any other PCI-E Slot's if that would be a worthy go? I've made sure the card is correctly placed as there wasnt any of the gold connectors peering out of the socket. What would be the primary output on the back of the card as there's a HDMI port, 2 x Digital port's, an i think theres another form of connection, I read somewhere that Brass Stand Off's cause it to short the board which is what I've got but I read else where that they are needed and dont Short it unless you screw the board onto the case it self..

A1,B1,C1 I believe the RAM is set in the "Orange" slot's.

I'm not really sure how loud it's suppose to be anyway's lol, I have a 24 Pin connector in on the right hand side and a 8 pin? at the top i believe.

Try with only one stick of ram & the 2 6 pin power is connected to the gpu- thought i make sure ;)

Thought it wouldnt function with 1 stick of RAM and I've been trying 2 x 6 pin connector's already, the PCI-E power cable I've used that came with the Power Supply.

Will work ok, I to run mine with 1,2 and tripple channel to test, had problems with 2 lots of faulty memory in my i7 build.

check the ram is in the right slots, the first slot next to the cpu isnt always thes first ram slot as I found out, had very very similar symptoms to yours, everything fired up but no signal, so worth checking your mobo instruction book for the right slots

do you have them in the red or the black slots? try them in the opposite ones to the slots you are using

Off topic: I did that on my i7 build, checked the manual and realised I used the wrong slots :o

Back on topic :)

I've tried it on the Orange(red) slot's changed them around in orange slots but never used them in the black slot's, Read the manual what I've done is right apparantley banks A1 B1 C1 are advisery but if i try them in A2 B2 C2 i dont think it'll work, il try booting with 1 RAM stick in and see how that goes but i dont think it'll make any difference.
