Put it all together & turned on, pressed del & got into the UEFI set-up utility within 5 seconds wow, cpu/mem/ssd detected, happy with that as not built a pc in over 6 years:o, now here is the problem i need your help with.

I have a bootable USB flash drive with MS Windows 7 2 install created via the windows utility, so would like to boot from it, when I click on 'boot' (in the UEFI) to go to these options, the Boot Option Priorities/ Boot Option #1, the only options I get is SATA: OCZ_AGILITY3 or Disabled.

How do I boot from the USB Drive? can't find anything on ASRock about this just specs.

Don't change it in the BIOS. When you first turn it on there should be a key you press to bring up the one time boot menu. Usually F12. It might tell you briefly on screen. If not, check the manual. Your flash drive will be in that list.

Stop the install, set the SATA controller to AHCI instead of IDE mode, then restart the install again.

Where do you want to install windows?
Disk 0 Partition 1: System Reserved 100.0mb 71.o \mb type system or
Disk 0 Partitition2 55.8gb 42.2gb free Primary

Which Partition do I choose? I guess the 2nd 1.
is 42.2gb from a 60gb ssd normal? seems very low to me? 30% of the drive for what?

Delete every partition on DISK0, and start again, it probably started to fill it up when you restarted.

Sorry my fault. I just presume everyone knows to change it to AHCI these days. As above, if you highlight all partitions and select delete, until there is none there, only one unformatted partition... create a new and, then one will automatically be created called system reserved, just leave this alone and click OK. It'll start for you.

Deleted both now,
Disk 0 Unallocated Space 55.9gb, now that is much better.
Copying Windows files = tick
Expanding Windows files 6%
getting somewhere, thank you both

Install Windows tab
Language to install: English
Time and currency format: English (United Kingdom)
Keyboard or input method: United Kingdom

I press next and it just keeps coming back to this Install Windows tab.

I know I have to change the boot to SDD, just don't know when? driving me mad, going for a cig to chill

Make sure defrag is disabled, this kills SSD performance,

Remember the chipset driver, storage drive, sound etc.
