Any advantages/disadvantages of going for the MSI motherboard instead of the Gigabyte?

Well only a few minor differences. The Gigabyte has 4 x USB3 ports on the back, it also has 2 SATA ports parallel to the motherboard which can make wiring that bit neater. Also, you get entered to win £50 Overclockers voucher. So I'd say the Gigabyte is a better choice, not that there's much in it.
