New build - i5 - need help

Well this build has changed. I've managed to secure a sale of my old pc which freed up funds a little.

I am going to get the BitFenix cables. Is there a solid PSU (energy efficient too) for around £50 / £60.

Will need to run around 550W as I'm not going SLI and have a GTX970 coming in.

According to Partpicker it's around 386W. So 550W will do fine.

So the EVGA Supernova 650W G1 Gold Modular Power Supply is the same as the 550?

I know about "overkill", however, I've found it for competitor price - makes sense

The 10yr vs 5yr warranty makes no sense in that field then

I can't seem to find anyone knocking SuperFlower, but some saying Corsair is fine

I know mate, was looking at pairing up a corsair with the green braided cable pack, as the other option is BitFenix ones. So I'm currently speccing up a 550W 80+ Bronze Modular one with the bit fenix cables to see how much that comes too. Just don't want to miss a cable and have to order later as I don't get free P&P here

Oh no, I meant the alchemy cabling on their own. Not the PSU.

Yep, saw that, but realised the cost going up with a corsair PSU too (and the x2 sata cables on top of that).

So now I just need a modular 550w PSU then, looking back, but I have heard great things about Superflower, so just going for the 750W that is on a deal right now.
