New build ideas

So it's come to that time that I want a new gaming build to replace my previous rig.

I have some ideas but would really like to cut the prices a bit. I'm most stuck on the case but I love the BitFenix cases the most, very clean and sophisticated so a replacement would need to be similar. I'm upgrading from an Antec 902 Nine Hundred Two (V3) which I don't like half as much as I did when I bought it. I won't buy from nVidia, had too many problems with them in the past.

These are my two build ideas but I'd prefer to reduce the costs if I could:

Leaning towards the second one.

8gb is enough for gaming and faster ram would be helpful , also retail cpu comes with 3 year warranty oem 1 year.

What do people think of the BitFenix Shinobi XL case? I'm pretty excited for it though it looks massive. Anyone got one? Is it worth it for the price?

It's a great case with loads of features and certainly worth the money IMO, though if you're only using an ATX board, you may aswell go with a smaller ATX case, like the 650D, 500R or orignal shinobi for example.
