Hello folks
Well, now I'm at the installing windows stage.
It was all going well, I'd chosen which of my three drives to install on and it was busy for about 5 minutes then I got this error:
"Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart installation. Error code: 0x80070570"

I'm installing onto a blank computer using the Windows 7 64bit installation disk - so what is this error all about?!

I thought I'd try again, but then when I clicked 'Custom Install' and got to the page to choose which drive, I see that my first drive (drive 0 - where I had chosen to install Windows before) has been partitioned into two, the offshoot being an unexpected little 100mb partition. I'm a complete noob as far as partitioning is concerned - how can I get rid of that partition? When selecting it all partition related options are greyed out! - I want my three Caviar Black 640GBs to be unsullied before Windows.

Any ideas on either of these problems?!
Thanks

The Win 7 setup makes that 100mb partition so don't worry about it as it is completely normal. Just try the install again and hope the read error on the DVD won't happen again.
