Hi, asking a question on behalf of someone else who's just put together a new computer which is apparently refusing to boot. Is anyone able to suggest anything, as I've run out of ideas.
He has the P31 based gigabyte motherboard, an e2160 and the OcUK 3870xt, all (meant to be) powered by a Corsair 520w PSU. He's installed it all, and has power to everything (as far as I can tell without actually seeing the thing) but it doesn't want to start. When he turns it on, the power on light on the case comes on for a split second, but nothing spins. He's replugged everything in, cleared the bios just in case but still nothing. He tried it without the graphics card and the PSU and dvd drive started spinning, and the led came on on the ram (he has the black dragon stuff), but nothing else at all.
Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers.
