Ordered 3080ti fe today after months of being too slow or in the middle of work. Parts I have are x570 aorus elite and 3080ti fe. After some case advice and block advice for cpu/gpu. Love the minimalistic look so hiding radiators psu's. etc aware that 2 x 360 radiators is a good start. Is the only fe block from ek realy 260 squid? Feel free to chime in what ever you feel.

Yes the EK FE block is very expensive. 3080ti is same PCB as 3080? if so any 3080 FE block will fit, only other one on ocuk I can see is the Aplhacool one and I prefer the look of that to the EK FE block but it is personal preference so go for what you like the best.

You have a lot of decisions to make. I would say the most important one is whether you want to vertically mount the gpu. If you do then it will limit the cases you can use and still have 2x360 rads. If you do a standard side mount then there are load of cases that can do 2x360 and you just need to decide which one you like that fits your needs.

There are just too many variables to narrow it down. Maybe post a pic of a build that inspires you and then it is easier to see what you are going for.

3080 block will fit the TI.

The Bykski (N-RTX3080FE-X) has a block for around £75, it does the job but instructions are minimal, and you may need to buy extra thermal pads for the back.

The Alphacool Eisblock is a good choice.

I have an Alphacool Eisblock factory fitted to a Inno3D 3080. I cannot recommend. The way the central block is designed at least for the 3080 reference means there is inadequate fluid flow over the memory areas and GDDR6X gets really hot! A test on kitguru showed the Alphacool with VRAM temps 25C worse than an EK equivalent block. On my 3080, under load, the VRAM is 30C hotter than the core, a difference I have never seen before with any fullcover block.

As for cases, the new Corsair airflow cases are getting decent reviews. I have three big Phanteks cases (P500A, 2x P600S) which are a joy to work on.

I doubt Franky will see this thread unless you msg him. Looks like the fittings are EK 16mm Torque fittings and I think EK rads as well.

I am just finishing similar build to that one.

If you go for the Lian Li O11 XL then you can do 2x360 with vertically mounted GPU. My build is in O11 Dynamic with vertically mounted GPU , I do not have rad at bottom of case.

Yes I used the side distro plate by EK.

If you have an O11 XL you can easily put 3x 360's in there and mount the gpu however you want. The case is huge!
I've got a O11 XL with a 3080FE and two rads.
360XE at the bottom with two sets of fans in push pull and a 360PE at the top.
GPU is cooled with a EK block so the card is mounted vertically. It's a bit of a squeeze with the large rad and that rad is total overkill for what I'm using.
Current temperatures show that in normal workloads my Delta is anywhere between 0 and 1 degree and the fans are configured for silence. I'm planning out a redesign of the loop and I'm debating removing the push set of fans from the XE, which would just be used to cool the GPU. I've currently got the push fans set to be off unless the delta is above 4 and in the last 2 weeks they haven't spun up at all. I'm not sure how much that would change moving to a dual loop or if I should just swap the XE for another PE.

Hi guys so Update after a bit as house move mayhem.
Mobo:Auros elite donated to son Now have x570 Tomahawk
Gpu :Still 3080ti
Cpu : 5900x bought
Rads : Ek 360 x 2 (Xe and Pe) Coolstream.

Need help with cpu block choice, Fan choice etc and Best rad layout for linked case. Anyone have the front distro plate? Saw some people get hairline cracks around the fittings on you tube. Hopefully corrected since. Ty in advance. Hmm tried to link a basket with o11d xl Ek 3080 fe block and front distro (also ek) with d5. Nvm listed them now

CPU Block - EK Velocity will do

Fan wise - Arctic P12 PWM.. performs well, are relatively cheap. They do do an ARGB version if you want LED.

Can't give info aon rad layout as i don't have that case

Getting very close now decided on radikult reservoir. Only thing I havnt bought is fittings. 2 questions I have left. With hard tubing only thing that matters is outer diametre when selecting fittings? And does anyone have the ammended instruction diagram for the thermal pad placement on the ek fe block for 3080ti? (only links I can see is for the 3080)

That reminded me!
It's still wrapped apart from around the two drain plugs.
I'm using EKWB Torque HD fittings for 16mm tubing.

Lol Exact same ! Also got the duel 360. Anyone got the ammended3080ti thermal pad placement for ek fe block?

I would recommend an air pressure tool. They are £30 and is very reassuring to know it is air tight before you add liquid.
