Please take a look at my build and let me know if you can spot any compatibility issues or improvements. I would also like some recommendations on a graphics card and CPU cooler to complement the build so far. I would like to keep the total budget below £800. I don't need anything else like monitor, OS, more storage etc. PC is mostly for mmo's.

Thanks in advance

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor £185.99
Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Windowed Midi Tower Case - Black £99.95
Gigabyte Z97X-SLI Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £92.99
Samsung 128GB SSD 850 PRO SATA 6Gbps 3D NAND Solid State Drive £87.98
SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 650W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply £85.99
Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit £71.99

Total so far £641.39

Thanks for all the little deals Doomedspeed, thats £50 saved there, nice one.

I like your build, I will upgrade the power supply as super flower don't seem to do a fully modular 550W power supply which is a little irritating but i guess having the 650W will give me scope to SLI at a future date if i choose to.

Is there a graphics card £30-40 cheaper you can recommend that would not impact the build to much or would you strongly recommend that one?

Thanks again

I don't personally think a modular PSU is worth sacrificing GPU performance for. The case is big enough (and has enough cable management features) to make the build nice and tidy without modular cables.

650W is a bit small for SLI too..

I suggest you go with my build above, but if you have to have a modular PSU cable of SLI/Xfire:

Thanks again for your help doomedspeed. I will Have to see if i can scrape some more pennies together and merge the builds.

Personally i wouldn't bother looking at SLI either, the (70 will Max out anything at 108p for a LONG while to come and the same canbe said (for the next year atleast) about 1440p too.

I built an mATX PC with a non-modular PSU with ease, no reason why you can't in an ATX.
