Not sure about the UD3R but my UD5 has a fault code display in the bottom right corner - read the numbers/letters off there and get yourself over to the gigabyte forums and see what they say - the gigabyte forums are also VERY useful for learning to overclock.

Have you got both power cables connected to the mobo? One 8pin in the top left and a 24 pin about 1/2 way up on the right?

Is the fan on the CPU cooler spinning?

sorry i wasnt home, basically i was a complete nub and only connected one 24pin i think power to the mobo and there is meant to be two wires
