hi, its all finally comin together
when it is im gonna want to be playing around unlocking cores, overclocking etc.
my question is though:
what (free) software should i use for testing, monitoring and generally making sure im not gonna kill anything?

for monitoring use CPU-Z this will give you your clock speeds etc:

for load testing use OCCT:

For temperatures and controlling fan speeds and voltages use Speedfan:
