Going to build my own computer, heres what i bought yesterday from OCUK,

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition "125W Edition" 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail £90.24 1 £90.24
Asus GeForce GTX 460 Direct CU TOP 768MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £89.74
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) £37.99
Corsair CX 500W ATX Power Supply (CMPSU-500CXUK) £36.38
Zalman Z7 Plus Midi Tower Case - Black £34.76 1 £34.76
VAT: £50.59
Order Total: £339.70

Now what i would love the people of OCUK to help me with :D is to help me find a motherboard, HDD and disk drive.
Also i have a question, do all parts from OCUK come with required connections/screws? e.g. a HDD and SATA Cables, because someone told me they didnt so im not sure what to buy..
and lastly what default outputs does a computer have ? Before i eventually buy a monitor i would like to hook my computer up to my 32" tv (tempoary), and it has outputs Scart, HDMI, VGA, and those red, white and blue cables you use for console/dvd video and audio :p what ones would be most practical ? I think VGA but does the GPU i have bought have these outputs ?

Thank You :)

EDIT : Budget is 550 MAX, with the parts already bought, i need motherboard, HDD, disk drive and windows (or if i cant use my tv, a monitor)
EDIT 2:The GTX 460 i purchased has a mini hdmi output, im feeling that the "mini"part means its a bit smaller than the connector on my tv :(
Last edit i swear: /watch?v=3Ku2zRjsSMM (not sure if i can post youtube links?) anyway thats my case, im just wondering, are all mobos built the same so that they fit into most cases? Im just worried mine wont fit -.-

that will do you, the motherboard has SATA and USB3.0 too.

all the cables needed come with the motherboard.

The card you bought has 2 dvi outputs and a mini hdmi output... you will need either a dvi to hdmi cable or a mini hdmi to hdmi cable... I would connect to your tv via hdmi!

I would go with:

why have you specced a worthless symetrical crossfire motherboard when the op has a Nvidia gpu?

what a waste of money.

Thank you for the posts,
is there anyway we could cut down on the motherboard? I need £200 to stretch to windows 7 and the motherboard hdd and disk drive.

also could i get away without using a CPU Cooler? I will be gaming, but only playing WoW for the moment which is hardly demanding..
and SSD's, worth the money ?

Stulids spec is pretty perfect. Perfect HDD, Windows as asked for, and a decent future proof motherboard. Not only that, its under budget!

What more do you want?
