New build.... New windows key?

Stupid question.
It's been a while since I did a new build.

I just read on my current window 11 upgrade.

Your digital key is registered to your Microsoft account. (Words like that)

Does this mean the product key is now locked to me via my Microsoft account?

When I install a new w11 to my new pc I'll log on and it'll say I have a key for w11 and everything is fine.

I know that can be true but please advise..... :p

Also I'm going to reset this old pc and give it to wife, that key will still be locked to that pc right.

God I sound like a moron.

Yes (I think). I normally do a full reinstall rather than using the system reset program that comes with windows. The activation sticks with a reinstall...not sure if it does with a system reset
 
All good very nice all argb is playing well together one thing..,

The case fans I have in my motherboard header are flickering when in sleep mode.

I've turned them off in bios and some gigabyte bloat app.

Am i missing something?

all my case fans are PWM into a "generic" fan hub that has a pwm cable to cpu header.

I assume the argb is 5v powered by the header. theres 9 fans in total daisy chained and the case argb in total its not even 100 LEDS the header should support 500x2..

in the gigabyte software is a setting that is greyed out

LED in sleep, Hibernation and soft off status. Its a toggle and its always toggled to the OFF status but there it says
YOUR PC NEEDS TO BE RESTARTED TO FINISH SET UP

yeah ive restarted this pc maybe 30 times already and nothing here changes... ill start looking for something here i guess.

Well i give up.

I just went through signalRGB and Icue and Fusion2.0 and finally this new poxy Gigabyte one and ive had enough....

all the fan profiles work with the gigabyte bundled software, im not subbing to a 3rd party program to do fan control profiles.

Ill just suck it maybe redo the daisy chain split it over the 2nd ARGB header...it might help its not the end of the world but does bother me why i like Gigabyte when they really Fing suck :p

i was seriosuly thinking about all corsair fans but that would have meant a ridiculous +5000 swedish Kr... which is more than the cpu cost... Well see these old FRactal design fans were once cool AF now they are showing their ages...

I kinda like this icue software, it poops on the gigabyte at least.... whatever :O 1st world problems.
