hello good people,

My head is about to explode.
I ve just built a new pc with the following specs:
Gigabyte Aorus x570 elite
Ryzen 7 3700x
Power colour red devil rx 5700xt
Wd blue sn550 nvme
Patriot Viper Gaming RGB ddr4 3600mhz 16gb (2x8gb)
Coolermaster hyper212 evo
Coolermaster mastercase h500p
Corsair rmx750w

As soon as i powered on the first time there was no post. Everything seemed to be working but nothing on screen. Tore it apart and rebuilt in case i missed something and nothing.

I qflashed the bios to version F3 and it booted.
Installed windows and updates and drivers but when i turned it off it would not turn on again. Same issue No post.

I q flashed the latest bios f20b and it booted.

Now everytime i turn it off i have to qflash the bios to get an image on the monitor.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Marcos

Yes, cleared CMOS after flashing. Sometimes it actually boots after clearing CMOS but does it again once i shut it down and the only way to get it to work is to either qflash or clear CMOS again

Update:
So i seem to got things to work, except one issue that i believe is connected to the above.

Everything boots fines now, i get a post, PC running smoothly, shut-down, removed power source and reconnected and is still working.

The minor issue is that, when the PC goes into sleep mode and i wake it up, i do get a picture on the monitor but the Mouse, Keyboard and Ethernet port seem to not have power, The RGB lights on the DIMM remain off and i cannot do anything. When i turned it off via the power switch and try to turn it back on again i get no post (i.e the issue that i had at the start).

Removing the power source for a couple of minutes seems to be fixing things.

What do you guys think? does this sound like a hardware issue?

Rma the mobo.
Nothing else come to mind.

I'm planning to build pc for myself
With gb aorus elite 3700x and same ram.

Issues like this don't inspire confidence.
Hope u find a fix. Defo consider Rma the mobo

If you have multimeter check voltage of BIOS battery.
(or replace it)
Maybe it isn't in good shape and dropping voltage causes these issues.

Update 3:
Replaced the BIOS battery still NO POST.
Seems like at the moment the only thing that helps is reflashing the BiOS
I will probably RMA the mobo, just want to make sure that is indeed the issue and not some memory or CPU issue

1) All the leds are on (motherboard fan gpu and dimm) when it does not post.
Edit: I am assuming you mean the RGB's as the only other LED on the motherboard is the one next to the q flash button which only lights up when flashing BIOS.

2)I dont think the fans are at full speed when it does not post.

3) yes i have tried without the xmp profile

Update No 3:

I have received a replacement mobo and everything seems to be working now.

I only had a minor issue when setting up XMP with the DIMMS at slots A1 and B1. The PC would try to boot 3 times and it would boot on the 4th attempt but with the DIMMS showing at the stock frequencies in desktop, even though in Bios it would show that the XMP was enabled.

This was resolved when i changed them to slots A2 and B2.

Thank you all for your help
