Hi all
I am building my nephews first computer, and I have build a few of mine over the years so not 100% new to it.
I got to the point where I was powering up to start the software and OS side of it.
Most of the fans turn on (at first the rear fan and the small chipset fan built into the MB move a little then stop. I removed the button battery and put it back in and now they stay on).
So nothing is displayed.
I have tried-
Removing GPU/try MD HDMI (dont think the build would work with the that option anyway)
Removed different parts to see if they caused the problems.
Swapped out the PSU as I had another one to hand
Tried one slot of RAM, and two in as many combinations as I could think of and made sure they were in correct.
Different HDMI cable and different monitor
Removed the CPU and checked for damage
Checked the case front panel connections (I think one was the wrong way round but nothing changed)
Removed the button battery for 10 minutes and put back in which did make me think it had worked, but still no luck.
I am lost for what to do now, feel like seeing how well it will work using a hammer on it lol.
