Who said anything about using OCUK...

Edit: I would not be too surprised if that is what they advise you to do. I seem to remember reading a similar thread to this one last year.

The price of that CPU was the difference It would cost for a new Mobo If i returned the current Mobo. I would rather have mobo and cpu that were compatableby default

Or take it to a local PC shop and see if they would flash the Bios for you, should`nt cost to much.

sadly the only one is Pc world and My friend works there, Judging by the stories, I'm far more educated than them and i don't know a whole lot

^^^ I suspect that they would charge you at least £20 + just for looking at it, then send it off for a week, and it may come back fixed.

are any of these Ivy bridge compatible, I cannot see it and i'll research via google too.

All of them are compatible, but I would take the Asus. The other 2 are voltage locked, so if you decide to upgrade to an i5 "K" chip, you wont be able to OC it.

she has already bought the ASUS board but if the weekly offer are better then I'll cancel her order.

The Board she bought came down on the weekly deal but I would still be paying £7 postage. Got it from amazon for £77 and its on OcUK for £75 + £7 shipping. Plus I used the Trail of amazon prime.
