New build, ordering it next week :) anything missing? suggestions?

btw which graphics card u would suggest for me to pick? the ati i got 4890 or gtx 260? which is faster/better for the price or any other u may suggest for resolution i chosen? or i should stick with 4890 if i am willing to go for crossfire later on?

it would be great if such pc could last for 2 years without upgrading :)

TBH, with such a lovely system its a shame its only going to be running a TN 20" screen.

PSU is overkill, get this unless you plan of Multi GPU - in that case get this.

I agree that a chance to a WD Black 1TB would make sense - much more consistent performance.

Antec 1200 is a good case, might want to have a look at this one too.

^ Ooo andi's turned into a wise guy already? :p

Well OP, it looks a good system, and I would echo andi's and other peoples advice.

Get the WD Black drive, get the XFX 4890, or GTX 275 - whatever floats your boat.
The PSU is overkill, unless you're going to Crossfire/SLI, and I think you would be better off with a bigger screen such as this.

There, swap some of the parts for the same ones from other... places. You also need a couple of crossfire bridges, and i wasn't sure if you wanted a mouse and keyboard.

Couple of issues with that spec:

I'm not sure why you would "upgrade" to the v8, the Titan Fenrir is plenty good enough. If you need to spend the money - a prolimatech megahalems is the best (unfortunately out of stock at the moment).

Two 4770s is indeed technically faster than a 4890. However, the problem is that if you get a decent 1080p+ monitor (which you should for this kind of money) you will run out of graphics memory when you turn up the settings. It also eliminates any possibility of upgrading the graphics in the future by adding a 2nd card. Going for a 4890 makes the most sense at the moment.

Also, I'm not sure why you would go for triple channel 3GB memory for a dual channel board. If you run two sticks in correct dual channel mode - you would only have 2GB of RAM. Get this instead.

That samsung drive is pretty slow, get a WB Black as mentioned before.

i figured the psu would be the overkill for 1 graphics card but i am planing to add another ati 4890 next year so i am actualy doubting if the 850 psu is enough? i am not much in computers so the suggestions are always welcome.

also thank you people for showing that black hdd :) i will get it for sure since u say it's faster.

850W will be fine for a dual 4890 system, you could probably get away with 750W, but 850 will give you loads of headroom.

i dont see the difference between retail one and the xfx, why should i get the xfx which is priced 20 squid even more?

The awesome warranty deal with OCUK/XFX:

hm, i can't seem to figure, how come the mother board i have in the shopping basket wont show any infos about crossfire? does it meant it does not support more than 1 graphics card?
