Well if you're really stuck there's a hack here.

As the hack means running through the xp setup agaid then you'd probably be as well just starting again from scratch and this time WRITE THE PASSWORD DOWN..... :eek:

I promise you there was no screen that said I had to enter a password. Only at this login page. Guess i'll have to redo it then.

What WinXP CD did you use to build it with ? You can slipstream a password into a build CD so its automatically entered. If this is what happened then you'll get the same problem again.

I have a genuine Windows XP Home Edition CD.
