New Build Problems - HELP PLEASE

Right just built a new system for work today... Following specs:

Pentium 4D 915 (Stock Cooler)
Asus P5B-VM (965g Chipset)
1GB Corsair XMS2 800mhz
Cheapy Case with 400w PSU

Built with no issues, plugged the whole lot in. Switched on and all I got was a quick flicker of the blue power LED. No fans spin up or anything. However the green power LED is on constantly on the motherboard.

PSU do you guys think?

Sounds like the PSU is at fault there, is it a non branded one? BN?

Yea.... Cheapo rubbish i'm afraid, came with case.

Did you forget to plug the 12V 4pin supply to the CPU ? :rolleyes:

bin the psu and get anew one ,500w or over,that should fix the problem.

Not sure that you need 500W but just buy one that is going to be quality. Antec, Enermax, Corsair. With reasonably good rails!

Your sig is waaay over the limits, cut it down to 4 lines before a mod does!
